The games will be held during the Sunday picnic of Family Weekend at Settler’s Park in Meridian. The picnic will start at 4:30 p.m. and we will plan to start Life Group Games at 6:00 p.m. While children are welcome to watch their parents compete for the Life Group Games Trophy, only adults will participate in the games.

New Competition Format

1 Pod = 4 Life Groups

Top 3 Pods Advance

Last. Life Group. Standing. Wins.

There will be six different games, all leading up to the semi-finals, and then the ultimate champion. There will be four games requiring people to be sent out onto the field, each life group must participate and send members of their life group for at least one of the games (so choose wisely).

Four Course Food Challenge

Although the games begin at 6:00 p.m., life groups are welcome to get extra points by bringing food for the judges to taste and critique.

Grading will be on the creative use of the theme. Each life group will be responsible for one of the four food components. Please drop off food by the main stage on the table labeled with your pod number before 4:30 p.m. We will begin eating and judging the food by 4:30 p.m.
