Sunday Mornings at Compass

Compass Classroom exists to equip the body of Christ to reach, teach, and train others to the glory of God.

Compass Classroom classes are additional opportunities for instruction in God’s Word each Sunday, functioning like an “Equipping Hour” or “Adult Sunday School.” They are free to attend, topical in nature, and interactive with the teacher and with table discussions.

Time: 8:35am (6 weeks)

Starting: January 11, 2026

Location: Heritage Room

Teacher: Pastor Charlie Matz

Whether you are a tradesman, an hourly employee, a contractor, a salaried employee, an executive, a business owner, or an entrepreneur, you are called to glorify God in your work. If you are someone who works at a job, giving the best hours of your day to labor in the workforce, then it’s important for you to apply biblical wisdom to your job so that you can honor the Lord through your work. This class will first explore the theology of work and then dive into the practical implications that shape how you actually work with others everyday in the workplace.

Starting: January 4, 2026

Revelation begins with a promise of blessing to the one who reads, hears, and obeys the prophecies about the end. Our lives will be better today because we have a firm trust in what’s coming tomorrow! This topic will increase our trust in God’s sovereignty and goodness while motivating holy living and proper priorities. Join us as we learn from Scripture about future things: death and resurrection, Israel and the church, the rapture and tribulation, the millennial reign of Christ, the eternal state, and much more!
