What legacy will you leave the next generation?
“Our goal with this ministry is to help the senior saints at Compass finish the race well and influence the next generation for God’s Kingdom.”
Our culture promotes the idea that once you hit a certain age you stop working and you no longer engage in community in a proactive and selfless way. As you get older there are certainly things that change, causing you to shift what you can physically engage in, but the Bible is clear that your work is far from over and that people are still the priority.
The Legacy Senior Ministry is designed to help seniors at Compass Bible Church Treasure Valley explore and live out what it means to finish the race well biblically. During each event we will explore what the Bible has to say about various topics related to the later seasons of life.
A major theme that will be threaded throughout this ministry is the concept of legacy and what it means to leave the next generation with a biblical knowledge of God and how to live out the Christian life in practical wisdom.

Who Is This For?
This ministry is for Christians who are in their senior years of life. If you would like to learn what the Bible has to say about the stage of life that you are in while making important friendships with those who are in the same stage of life, this ministry is for you.
What to Expect?
The Legacy Senior Ministry will meet on a monthly basis with the future scheduled events announced at each in-person event and on this page. At each event there will be a time of fellowship, announcements, worship, teaching, and peer testimonials. Coffee and pastries will be provided at each event.
