The Bible provides what we need to know and serve God, offering hope and guidance to help us navigate through sin and suffering (2 Peter 1:3-4).
Although all of our difficulties may not disappear, when we seek to change God’s way, He will grant us victory over sin and provide lasting hope through the trials of this life.

For children and teens, we work in concert with their parents, though direct counsel may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
We provide counseling to those who don’t attend a church. We require that all who receive ongoing counseling regularly attend Compass Bible Church on Sundays as part of the counseling process.
We don't offer counseling to people who faithfully attend another church. We recommend that if you faithfully attend another church, you seek the wisdom and counsel from the pastors who are responsible for shepherding your soul.

The purpose of the premarital counseling at Compass Bible Church Treasure Valley is to prepare Christian couples to approach marriage biblically. It is our prayer that each couple will be successfully equipped to overcome the challenges that stand in the way of achieving a Christ-honoring marriage.

Interested In being trained to Counsel yourself and others?
Compass Counseling is a Certified Training Center of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).
We develop counselors by providing rigorous training that meets the requirements of ACBC certification.
Each Fall we offer Biblical Counseling Fundamentals, a course taught over 30 weeks and offered at three levels:
“One Another” Training
Ministry Leadership Training
Formal Counseling Training.
Those who take Level 3 will meet the requirements for Phase 1 of ACBC Certification.
