We want to encourage everyone at Compass Bible Church not just to run well, but to finish well. For those closer to the finish line, this conference aims to motivate you not just to keep going, but to excel still more all the way to the end. Also for others who see their finish line further away, this conference will remind you that the habits and patterns you practice in the here and now will have a great effect on how you end up finishing.

Bruce Blakey
After 14 years in banking, Bruce entered full-time pastoral ministry in 1991. Bruce has pastored churches in California and Texas including 24 years at Believers Fellowship in San Antonio. Bruce retired from full time ministry at the end of 2025 but still actively serves at Compass Long Beach, a church he helped plant. Bruce has been married to Roberta for 49 years. They have 3 married sons and 12 grandchildren.
