Bible Time - God is our Rock
Today, our kids learned about the character of God - especially his holiness. As the world crashes around us, God remains holy.
For our memory verse, we asked the kids to know:
1 Samuel 2:2
“There is none holy like the LORD: for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.
Missions - Adoniram Judson
Starting with Adoniram’s childhood, we talked about where he came from up until his marriage to Ann Hasseltine.
Beginning in college, he began to turn away from Christian beliefs and lean into Deism because of his friend Jacob Eames. God, however, later used Jacob’s death to draw Adoniram to himself.
After turning to the Lord, Adoniram spearheaded some of the earliest missions groups and also married Ann.
Skit
The crew of Captain Rackham finds a man lost out on the high seas only moments before trying to raid a local island. The man calls himself Malachi and says he is a fisher of men.
As the ship comes close to the island the military on the island begin to fire their cannons. This forces the crew to turn their ship around in order to escape.
Support this Year’s Missionary
Houghton and Gretchen Richards as well as Laura Thulesen (Gretchen and Laura are sisters) have been serving in Vanuatu for over seventeen years.
They are a couple years out from completing the New Testament. They are building a training center in the village we live in, anticipating Bible teaching and further literacy classes to train future leaders of the Church amongst the people of North Ambrym.

Kids ministry produces a lot of content for the children of this church. From the teachings on Sundays to the worship videos, as well as skit videos from camp compass, we wanted to create a place for good content for your family.
We also look forward to creating more content for your family, too use for both worship, teaching, and entertainment, moving forward.
