Mission Focus

Every year, we study the life of a missionary and how God used them.

Each day, we go through a portion of their life and learn about their story.

Biblical Lesson

Each day, the kids will learn a different way to describe how God is our Rock. They will also have a memory verse each day that when all have been memorized, they earn a Camp Compass pin.

These lessons are given by our Pastors at Compass Bible Church each day.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When someone drops off a child they will check them in using our Ipads in the front lobby and will receive a sticker that the person picking them up must have in order to pick that child up. If they don't have the sticker we have to verify their identity with the parent or guardian listed in our system.

  • Things like allergies must be listed in our system under the child's information in order for us to know a child's allergy (It prints out on the sticker we give the child). Verbally telling leaders allergies can result in mishaps because it hasn't been recorded properly in our system which is what our volunteers use to check those things.

  • We ask that children be dressed appropriately for the event which means shorts and skirts that are modest and not too short or revealing. We are handing out childrens t-shirts for the event with bags for two Sundays before the event in the Kids Min area so that they can come with the shirts and backpacks that morning.

  • We have a dedicated team of people at our check-in table throughout the day that should be able to help you find your child's group. Once they have been checked out with their group leader, they are good to go with you. Feel free to let your child's small group leader know that you will be picking them up early so that they are prepared.

  • Because we manage programs and events for nearly 500 students, our media and photo release policies need to be streamlined to remain manageable for our staff. To ensure we can safely enforce this policy, we only grant exceptions to the mandatory photo release form for children with specific legal or safety protections, such as those in foster care, those who are adopted, or cases involving specific custody/divorce agreements where a child’s safety is at risk.

Outside of these critical safety exceptions, we do require a signed photo release form for all participating students. Because of the volume of media we capture during our activities, our team unfortunately does not have the administrative capacity to manually scan, track, and blur individual faces out of group photos or video footage.
